In order to develop interest of astronomical phenomena and events in the minds of students, Akashmitra started publishing ‘Khagolshastriya Vartapatra‘ in Marathi.  It covers many schools in Kalyan-Dombivli region.  Against a nominal subscription, eight issues per year are published.  Current astronomical events, space explorations and basic concepts are explained in lucid language.
